Extern & Medical students
นิสิตแพทย์ปี 5 จะได้มีโอกาสเข้ามาเรียนการตรวจผู้ป่วย และการทำงานในห้องฉุกเฉิน ในช่วง Ambulatory clinic ซึ่งวัตถุประสงค์ของฝึกทำงานในห้องฉุกเฉิน เพื่อให้ได้แนวคิดของการรักษาผู้ป่วยวิกฤต การ approch ผู้ป่วยฉุกเฉิน การฝึกทำหัตถการพื้นฐาน และได้เรียนรู้ชีวิตความรู้สึกของผู้ป่วยและญาติที่มารับบริการที่ห้องฉุกเฉิน
นิสิตแพทย์ปี 6 (Extern) จะได้มีโอกาสมาทำงานในห้องฉุกเฉิน 2 สัปดาห์ ในช่วง Internal Medicine และ ช่วงอยู่เวรของ Surgical และ Orthopedics วัตถุประสงค์การทำงานในปีสุดท้ายของการเรียนแพทย์ เพื่อให้สามารถให้การรักษาผู้ป่วยฉุกเฉินในทุกรูปแบบ ได้ฝึกทำหัตถการช่วยชีวิตที่จำเป็น เช่น การใส่ท่อช่วยหาย การใส่ ICD การทำ ultrasound เป็นต้น ในระหว่างการทำงานจะต้องมีการ present case อย่างน้อย 1 ครั้ง กับอาจารย์แพทย์ประจำห้องฉุกเฉิน

สำหรับ Extern ปีการศึกษาพ.ศ.2557 สามารถศึกษาวัตถุประสงค์และหน้าที่ ช่วงผ่าน Emergency Medicine rotation ได้ตามไฟล์ด้านล่างนี้
Extern
Time is brain! That's why we must have fast track in Stroke patient. Golden time for the ischemic stroke patients is around 4.5 hours. From home to needle, we should save the time as fast as we can. The way we can do start from Early Recognition, Early Detection, Early Resuscitation, Early Diagnosis, Early Treatment, and Stroke care.
Extern
Sepsis is one of the most common disease but the least recognize. Number needed to treat in Severe sepsis and Septic shock is 6!! That's why we have to catch & crash it. Stop sepsis, save lives.
Extern & Med students
Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is one of the must algorithm that pre-doctor should know before to work in the hospital (not just an Emergency department). This is the document of the 5th year medical student, ambulatory period lecture.
Extern
One of the most concern for the Externs especilly in the night shift is Airway management. This lecture will guide you to form the concept of the Airway Mx in your special situation :)
